The contract includes the provision of spare parts, specialist tools, maintenance, staff training, and technical assistance. The deadline for expressions of interest is August 11.
The Ministry has also issued a second tender notice for 30 locomotive-hauled coaches, including 10 first class sleeping cars, 16 standard class sleeping cars, and four restaurant cars.
