ANGOLAN National Railways (INCFA) is planning to begin civil works early next year on a project to construct a second track on part of the Luanda Railway (CFL), which links the capital with Malanje and Dondo.

Track-doubling will be carried out to incrase capacity on the 36km Bungo - Baia section, which is currently used by 27 trains per day.

INCFA is also planning to order 10 diesel locomotives for CFL next year as the line currently has only five operational locomotives.
