Trenitalia orders more Jazz EMUs from Alstom

TRENITALIA has placed a €170m order with Alstom for 27 additional Jazz EMUs as part of the continuing renewal of its regional rolling stock fleet.

Financing agreed for Kharkiv metro expansion

UKRAINE’s cabinet has given Kharkiv Metro approval to sign loan agreements with the European Investment Bank (EIB) and the European Bank for Reconstruction (EBRD) which will fully-finance a project to expand the metro network in the country’s second-largest city.

SIEMENS announced on November 10 that it has secured a €56m contract to refurbish the fleet of Desiro EMUs used by British train operator South Western Railway (SWR).
