Public services began the following day on the Bernardino - Porto section in Santos and the Mascarenhas de Moraes - Barreiros stretch in São Vicente.
Services are initially operating between 07.00 and 19.00 daily, although operating hours will be extended in April with trams running between 05.30 and 23.30. All except one of the line’s 15 stations are now open.
The first section of the line between Mascarenhas de Moraes in São Vicente and Pinheiro Machado in Santos opened in January 2016 and services were extended from Pinheiro Machado to Bernardino in December.
