The 25kV ac train is due to be delivered to Mumbai on April 5 and trial operation on the Navi Mumbai - Thane Trans-Harbour Line is expected to start on April 16. CR says the 12-car set will accommodate up to 5964 passengers, 1028 of them seated.

Traction equipment for the train was supplied by Bharat Heavy Electricals, India.
