Under the deal, KS services which currently terminate at Chalupki or Wodzislaw Slaski in Poland will be extended across the border to Bohumin from December, providing passengers from stations in Silesia with connections to inter-city services to destinations such as Ostrava, Prague, Olomouc, and Brno. In return, CD will extend Frydek-Mistek - Ostrava - Česky Těšin services across the River Olše to the Polish town of Cieszyn.

The agreement will also introduce reciprocal fares arrangements for cross-border travel. KS Daily Network and Silesia Weekend tickets will be valid on CD services in eastern Czech Republic, while families and pensioners will be able to travel to Česky Těšin or Bohumin on a KS ticket without paying a supplement. A Zlotys 2 ($US 0.54) supplement will apply for other KS passengers travelling to Česky Těšin and Bohumin.
