Eickholt to manage Siemens-Alstom integration

SIEMENS announced on October 4 that Mrs Sabrina Soussan and Mr Michael Peter have been appointed to lead the company’s mobility division, succeeding Mr Jochen Eickholt, who has been appointed integration manager for the merger of Siemens’ and Alstom’s mobility businesses.

Soussan will continue to lead the Mainline Transport and Urban Transport business units and will also now head the Mobility division’s service business. Soussan has held a variety of positions with Siemens in Germany, France, Japan, Britain and Switzerland. She has a degree in mechanical and aeronautical engineering and an MBA from universities in Poitiers and Dublin.

In addition to heading the Mobility division, Peter will retain his position as CEO of the Mobility Management business unit, which is responsible for rail automation and traffic management systems. He will also head the company’s turnkey solutions and electrification businesses.

Peter has a degree in electrical engineering from Braunschweig Technical University and Madrid Polytechnic University. His career with Siemens spans 25 years and he has held posts in Germany, Spain, Thailand, and the United States.
