The bond issues will be used to invest in railway infrastructure development as part of a development budget worth up to Shekels 30bn up to 2020. The bond issuance is being conducted by the Israel Railways Finance Division and Legal Department in collaboration with the Ministries of Transport and Finance.
Israel Railways to issue bonds worth Shekels 2bn
ISRAEL Railways has filed a draft prospect with the Israeli Securities Authority for a bond issue worth Shekels 1bn ($US 260m) during 2015, the first step in a plan to issue bonds worth up to Shekels 2bn over the next two years.
