Stadler will hold a 51% share in the new company.
Stadler says that it needs to expand into new markets to make better use of its plants in Switzerland, which employ around 3000 staff.
In June Stadler won its first contract in Azerbaijan, when Azerbaijan Railways (ADY) placed an order for 30 long-distance coaches.
