The trunk Swiss Express service operates from Antwerp North Yard to Basle with southbound trains leaving the Belgian port on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, and northbound services departing Basle on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
The train operates to a fixed timetable to give customers a clearer indication of departure and arrival times and SNCB Logistics provides detailed real-time information on wagons and cargoes while the train is in transit.
SNCB Logistics is operating the service in collaboration with Swiss Federal Railways (SBB) railfreight subsidiary SBB Cargo and both companies are partners in the Xrail wagonload freight alliance.
