The auditor says Dutch authorities, including the Dutch state audit office, have also failed to co-operate with the inquiry into the botched order for 19 trains from AnsaldoBreda.
SNCB has defended its position and insists it has nothing to hide. Both SNCB and NS are currently pursuing court cases against AnsaldoBreda, and preparations are underway in the Netherlands for a parliamentary inquiry, with the first hearings due to take place in December.
