TTG won the contract last year but had to complete a seven-month proof of concept assessment jointly with SNCF on two routes from Marne-la-Vallee east of Paris to Marseille and Montpellier.
The system is being deployed as part of SNCF's programme to improve punctuality and reduce energy consumption.
"The close collaboration with SNCF has enabled the seamless integration of our system onto SNCF's operations platform, to ensure it plays an important part in optimising on‐time running and eco‐driving in the future," says Mr Dale Coleman, TTG's group managing director.
