CAF was awarded a €83m contract by project developer Luxtram last year to supply 21 45m-long bidirectional vehicles for the 6.4km line from LuxExpo to Pont Rouge, which is due to open in the second half of next year.
Delivery of the fleet is due to start in early 2017.
