The work will be carried out at Iftec’s workshops in Leipzig and involves a comprehensive refurbishment of the passenger area, an exterior repaint in VAG’s new livery and various other corrective and preventative maintenance measures.
The refurbishment programme will begin in October and all 40 vehicles are due to be treated by January 2022.
