The 7km extension runs through an 800m tunnel between Alvik and Johannesfred stations, and serves the districts of Ulvsunda and Sundbyberg before terminating at Solna Centrum. The second phase of the extension to Solna mainline station is due to open next year.
The journey time between Alvik and Solna Centrum is 15 minutes.
