WARSAW expanded its tram network to the north of the city on February 27 with the opening of the 1.1km northern extension of Line 2 from Mehoffera to Nowodwory in the district of Białołęka.

Services on the two-station extension operate every four minutes during peak hours and at six-minute intervals off-peak, replacing two bus routes.

The opening of the extension brings the residential area of Nowodwory within a 15-minute tram ride of the northern terminus of metro Line 1 at Młociny.

Services on Line 2 are operated by Pesa 128N Jazz Duo LRVs.
