During tests the locomotive ran for 10km in Last Mile mode, making the transition from electric to diesel operation on-the-move.
Dynamic testing also focussed on the performance of braking systems in different brake modes.
Traxx Last Mile locomotive on test in Croatia
A Bombardier Traxx AC3 Last Mile locomotive owned by leasing company Railpool was tested on the Zagreb - Slavonski Brod line on December 14 with the aim of completing authorisation for the commercial operation of the type in Croatia during the first quarter of 2016.
