The locomotive was used to haul a 560m-long train carrying cars from Graz over the Semmering Pass to Messendorf near Vienna, operating in diesel mode over non-electrified sections of the Graz-Köflach Railway (GKB).
The locomotive also hauled a 2199-tonne 610m-long train of woodchip from Ebenfurt to Gratwein.
