Bohle succeeds Mr Berthold Huber who was appointed to the DB board of management responsible for the new traffic and transport division, which integrates all DB's freight and passenger operations as part of a major shakeup of DB's top management announced by its CEO Dr Rüdiger Grube on July 28.
Bohle was CEO of DB Sales, a division she joined in 2007 from McKinsey. She has an MBA from the University of Texas.
Bohl is succeeded by Dr Rolph Körfgen who was previously responsible for corporate development. Dr Manuel Rehkopf succeeds Körfgen as head of corporate development.
