SNC-Lavalin's consortium partners include Graham Building Services, International Bridge Technologies and Jacobs Associates Canada.

EGRT will be responsible for construction of elevated and surface alignments, a 2km bored tunnel at Burquitlam, seven stations, power substations, train operating systems, parking facilities, and a depot.

The 11km Evergreen Line will link the existing Millennium Line at Lougheed Town Centre, with Port Moody, Ioco, and Coquitlam, providing a journey time of 40 minutes between Coquitlam and central Vancouver, less than half the current travel time by car. Trains will operate with a minimum headway of three minutes, and services will operate 20 hours a day. The line is expected to carry around 70,000 passengers per day by 2021.

Preliminary works are already underway along the route and commercial services will begin in mid-2016.
