The 43m-long vehicles will each accommodate up to 400 passengers, and
will be used across the 43.9km three-line network, which is currently
being extended. Like the existing fleet of 74 Bordeaux Citadis, the new
vehicles will be equipped for operation using Alstom's APS ground power
supply system, which was pioneered in the city when the first line
opened in 2003.
