The trains can accommodate 120 passengers and will be used on regional services in Bohemia and Moravia. The European Union funded the purchase of 17 of the 43.7m-long trains by contributing 40% of the overall cost of the contract.
Each dmu is powered by two 390kW powerpacks, which are compliant with EU Stage IIIa emissions standards. The first train will be delivered in September 2012.
