No new reservations are currently being taken by Eurostar with only tickets valid for December 19 and December 20 accepted on today's services. Customers with tickets for December 21 and today will be able to travel tomorrow. Tickets for December 23 and December 24 will only be accepted on Christmas Eve.
Meanwhile, Eurotunnel confirmed that while it continues to operate a normal service, space is predicted to be limited as the operator again clears a backlog of passengers who were delayed on December 20. Hundreds of people, including some Eurostar passengers, who postponed journeys over the weekend turned up on Monday furthering delays as those without tickets were turned away. Passengers are advised to call Eurotunnel's passenger information line before starting their journey.
