Since 2006 Bombardier has already delivered 30 of the bidirectional
low-floor LRVs, which are 21.9m long and accommodate up to 121
passengers.

halle.jpgThe latest order is worth around Euros 29 million and includes an
option for another four LRVs. The vehicles will be delivered between
July 2012 and January 2013, and will be assembled at Bombardier's
Bautzen site, with bogies being produced in Siegen and electrical
equipment in Mannheim.

Havag operates an 86km metre-gauge tram network with 15 routes, which
carry a total of around 55.4 million passengers per year.
