Last year All Aboard Florida placed an initial order with Siemens for five 200km/h trains, each formed of four coaches and two Charger diesel-electric locomotives. These will be delivered for the first phase of All Aboard Florida's passenger services which will link Miami, Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach from 2017.

The fleet will be maintained at a purpose-built depot located south of Orlando International Airport, and a smaller facility at West Palm Beach. The maintenance operation will provide full-time employment for 70 Siemens and 40 All Aboard Florida staff.
