The trains were delivered two years after the contract was signed, and will mainly operate on the North Denmark regional network. The two-car 140km/h trains can accommodate 260 passengers, with 125 seated, and are equipped with Wi-Fi, air-conditioning, information systems, and video surveillance.
“NJ is significantly increasing its operation activities and we are pleased to have received Alstom’s 13 Coradia Lint on-time,” says NJ CEO, Mr Peter Hvilshøj, “We chose this train as it is a very reliable and well performing train and they fit well into our operational conditions to the benefits of our passengers.”
