The 1520mm-gauge 140km/h regional trains will supplement the initial batch of three sets delivered in 2014. These trains are currently used on international services from Minsk to the Lithuanian capital Vilnius, but are due to be replaced on this route by 200km/h Stadler EPn-001 EMUs when electrification is completed.
The 69.3m-long DP3s seat 145 passengers and have an entry floor height of 600mm.
Delivery of the additional sets is due to start later ths year.
