The 1067mm-gauge TX-3000 trains are due to enter service in March 2020, supplementing the existing fleet of 14 TX-1000 and 23 TX-2000 sets.
The 130km/h trains will feature enhancements over their predecessors, including improved seating, anti-UV window glass, LED lighting, CCTV, forward-facing cameras and silicon carbide traction converters.
