Mitsubishi will provide a one-package solution including propulsion, auxiliary power supply, and train management systems for the 744 cars.
Deliveries will be completed by 2022.
Mitsubishi electrical equipment for MTR trains
MITSUBISHI Electric announced on September 28 that it has been awarded a contract by CRRC Qingdao Sifang to supply electrical equipment for 93 eight-car trains being built by the Chinese supplier for MTR Corporation, Hong Kong.
