Unlike the 44 vehicles ordered previously by MPK Poznan, the Moderus Beta MF 22 AC BD trams will be bidirectional.
The 600V dc 25%-low floor vehicles will be equipped with air-conditioning, handrail-mounted USB chargers, and LCD passenger information screens. Each three-section vehicle will be equipped with eight 50kW ac traction motors.
Deliveries are due to begin later this year.
Modertrans completed delivery of an initial batch of unidirectional 24 Moderus Beta MF 02 AC trams for MPK Poznan at the end of last year and a further 20 unidirectional vehicles of the same design are on order.
