The orders, comprising 130 wagons from Randon will and 70 from AmstedMaxion will be completed by October, taking Rumo's Brazilian wagon fleet to 929.
Rumo Logistics orders 200 wagons
Rumo Logistics, a subsidiary of Brazil's Cosan group, has placed two orders worth a total of Reais 41m ($US 20m) for 200 sugar and ethanol wagons. The acquisition is part of Rumo's Reais 1.3 billion strategy to boost rail-borne sugar and grain volumes to 11 million tonnes by 2014.
