The tender calls for the supply of eight five-car and five four-car EMUs, delivery and installation of a driving simulator, provision of staff training, and providing P1-P4 maintenance for each train for a period of 15 years from the date of delivery. The winner of the tender will be responsible for obtaining all necessary technical permits to operate a TSI-compliant train from Poland’s Office for Railway Transport.

 

Bids will be evaluated according to the following criteria:
• the cost of delivering and maintaining the 13 trains, with a weighting of 78
• the warranty period for the fleet which cannot be shorter than 48 months and no longer than 96 months from the date of signing final acceptance, with a weighting of 15
• the delivery time for the first three vehicles, with a maximum delivery time of 18 months from the date of signing the contract, with a weighting of 2, and
• the service weight of the trains, with a weighting of 5.
