POLISH infrastructure manger PKP PLK has awarded has awarded a consortium of Bombardier and Krakowskie Zaklady Automatyki, Poland, a Zlotys 210m ($US 56.5m) contract to install new signalling equipment on the Rawicz - Czempin section of the Wroclaw - Poznan line.
POLISH infrastructure manger PKP PLK has awarded has awarded a consortium of Bombardier and Krakowskie Zaklady Automatyki, Poland, a Zlotys 210m ($US 56.5m) contract to install new signalling equipment on the Rawicz - Czempin section of the Wroclaw - Poznan line.
The contract also includes associated power supplies, telecommunications, CCTV, and rolling stock detection systems. Final delivery is scheduled for June 2020.
The contract is the third and final section of the Wroclaw - Poznan line, which forms part of the E59 corridor, to undergo a signalling upgrade. Bombardier, whose share of the contract is worth Zlotys 93m, is also delivering work on the Wroclaw - Rawicz and Czempin - Poznan sections.
