RATP awards five-year signalling maintenance contract

PARIS Transport Authority (RATP) has awarded a five-year 24/7 contract to Ansaldo STS to maintain the signalling on 17 metro and light rail lines in the French capital.

The contract covers preventive and corrective maintenance of the signaling systems and equipment, including CBTC, interlockings, and supervision systems on nine metro lines and eight LRT lines covering around 220km and 404 stations. Ansaldo STS will also provide technical assistance during all works carried on the network.

Ansaldo STS installed its Octys CBTC system on metro Line 3.
