The Koruna 4.74bn ($US 220m) programme is divided into six contracts - three for individual vehicle types and three framework contracts encompassing more than one class. The six contracts comprise:
• Škoda class 380 multi-system electric locomotives
• Alstom class 680 Pendolino EMUs
• Siemens Railjet driving cars (These operate with Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB) class 1216 locomotives, which are already equipped with ETCS)
• Škoda Interpanter and Regiopanter EMUs (class 440, 640 and 650)
• class 163 and 362 electric locomotives, and
• Stadler RS1 Regioshuttle (class 841) and Pesa Regioshark (class 844).

Earlier this week ČD announced a tender for up to 50 new EMUs, which will be delivered with ETCS.
