CD acquires Austrian coaches

The exact number of vehicles has not been finalised and will depend on CD's future operational requirements.

The type Amz, Apmz, and Bmz coaches were modernised by ÖBB between 2005 and 2010, but have since been rendered surplus by the introduction of RailJet sets. CD will use the vehicles on international services from Prague to Berlin, Hamburg, and Budapest.

The coaches will be delivered to the Czech Republic next year, and CD says some may undergo modifications before entering service.
