The 2.3m-wide vehicles must comply the German Bostrab standards and have a low floor area of at least 70%. Each 30m-long three-section LRV will have a cab at end and seats for at least 166 passengers.

The car bodies and roofs need to be made of stainless steel, while the lower area of the vehicles should be fabricated from fully-welded corrosion-resistant steel. The LRVs must have at least three sliding doors per side.

The trams will operate on lines electrified at 750V dc and will have a maximum speed of 70km/h.
