Revenue rose by 11% to €3.98bn, with Ebitda increasing 6.9% to €523m. Operating expenses increased by 11.9% to €3.5bn but profits surged 59% to €111.4m.
Passenger numbers reached 507 million, exceeding 500 million for the first time since 2008.
Renfe’s Strategic Plan aims to further boost revenues to €4.6bn by 2026.
