GERMANY’s Federal Railway Authority (EBA) has granted Alstom approval for operational testing for its NBT ballastless slab track system, which is designed for use at speeds of up to 360km/h.

TÜV Rheinland InterTraffic/ACR acted as notified body (NoBo) during the certification phase and Alstom also worked with the Technical University of Munich Department of Civil, Geo and Environmental Engineering to obtain approval for the system in Germany.
