Sampyo Engineering & Construction will use its machine on Korea's new 183km high-speed line from Osong to Gwangju which is scheduled to be completed in 2014, and extended to Mokpo by 2015.
In China, Harsco has secured an order from Ningbo Rail Transit Group for a 30-stone unit that will be used on the city's under-construction metro. This is the first 30-stone machine that Harsco has sold in China following previous supply of 10 and 20-stone machines.
In Britain, the new rail grinding machine will complement Network Rail's existing fleet of Harsco machines used for maintenance across the network.
