The contract, which includes an option for a two-year extension, covers six lines totaling 360km, including Simrishamn – Arlöv, Arlöv – Malmö – Lockarp, and Malmö – Ystad, together with freight lines in the Skåne region.
Strukton will be responsible for all aspects of infrastructure maintenance on these lines including track, signalling, and electrification. The contract also covers winterisation measures such as the installation of point heaters and snow removal.
