Ansaldo STS to signal French high-speed line PDF Print E-mail

A Euros 46.7m contact has been awarded by Ineo and Inexia to Ansaldo STS to installing signalling equipment on the Sud Europ Atlantique (SEA) high-speed line under construction between Tours and Bordeaux.


Ansaldo STS will install TVM 300 cab signalling, interlockings, track circuits, and hot box detectors on 303km of new line, which will be designed for 300km/h operation, plus 40km of connecting lines to the existing network. SEA, which is an extension of the Paris - Tours TGV Atlantique high-speed line, will open in April 2017.
