CATALONIA Railways (FGC) and Basque railway company, EuskoTren, have signed an agreement to collaborate on bidding for rail consultancy work within Spain and internationally.

The agreement was signed by Mr Enrico Ticó, president of FGC, and Mr Francisco Javier Cruz, director of EuskoTren, and is an effort to expand the two companies' business opportunities beyond their home regions.

 

The agreement establishes the creation of an executive board and a general commission that will approve the collaboration of the two companies on specific projects and oversee operations. The two companies will assign members of their management to the general commission which will meet every three months. The agreement also leaves the door open for a third company to participate on certain projects.
