Transport for NSW (TfNSW) is an agency of the New South Wales Government in Australia. The Communications & Control Systems team within Transport for NSW delivers the operational systems for train control, rail communications and condition monitoring systems via the utilisation of supply contracts, turn key contracts or in-house resources.
Due to the current and future work load in railway projects, additional Communications & Control Systems resources are required. TfNSW is tendering for 19 contract resources of various specific competencies to join the control system team (based in Sydney, Australia) on a contract for 24 months with options to extend for a further two (2) x 12 month periods. The resources will provide design support for a number of large rail infrastructure projects and system upgrades.
Tenderers may nominate from 1 to 19 resources and TfNSW is prepared to engage resources on 457 visas (see http://www.immi.gov.au/skilled/skilled-workers/sbs/ for further information on 457 visas).
