Indian Railways launches electric double-stack container operation
INDIAN Railways have begun operation of the world’s first overhead electric (OHE) double-stack intermodal trains. Services began on June 10 on a section of the country’s Western Railway, between Palanpur and Botad stations in Gujarat state.
