Chinese funding boost for Tazara
CHINA has injected Kwacha 344 billion ($US 66.2m) into Tanzania-Zambia Railway Authority (Tazara) to rehabilitate infrastructure and improve operations.
Tazara has recently struggled with operational problems on the line between Kapiri Mposhi in Zambia and Dar-es-Salaam in Tanzania. The offer will be concluded at a tripartite meeting to be held on March 26.
