Operators with net-cost public service contracts where they provide services at their own commercial risk are eligible for support in the form of direct grants for up to 100% of the damages incurred between March 11 and August 31.
The EC says it found that the Danish aid scheme will compensate damages that are directly linked to the coronavirus outbreak. It also found that the measure is proportionate to the damages incurred.
