The LRVs will be delivered between May 2020 and March 2021, expanding AVG’s Flexity fleet to 62 vehicles.
The low-floor barrier-free LRVs are equipped with conventional bogies that are fitted with air springs for improved suspension, quieter operation and low wear on the wheels and rail.
The vehicles feature passenger information systems, Wi-Fi and areas for wheelchairs, pushchairs and bicycles. The 37m-long LRVs have space for 244 passengers, including 93 seated, while up to four vehicles can be coupled to provide extra capacity.
