China Railways to receive new high-speed trains

The order comprises 112 CR300AF coaches which have a maximum operational speed of 250km/h.

Of the 14 sets, 10 trains are for the Fuping Railway in Fujian, and four are for the Meizhou-Shantou Passenger Dedicated Line in Guangdong.

BST, a 50:50 joint venture of Bombardier Transportation and Sifang Locomotive has previously supplied 448 CR400AF and CR400AF-A coaches to CR.

The company was also awarded a Yuan 2.45bn short-term maintenance contract for 656 high-speed coaches in January.
