The four-car trains will be 75m-long, with six doors on each side. The trains will have 200 seats, with capacity for up to 480 passengers, and will be equipped with air-conditioning, Wi-Fi and a family space, and will also be accessible for passengers with limited mobility.

The fleet will be equipped with ETCS Level 2, and will be delivered by the end of 2021.

The new trains will enable the launch of new services within the Małopolska region. Małopolskie Railways already operates 18 Pesa trains, including 16 EMUs, on routes including Wieliczka Marketplace Salt Mine - Krakow Main Station - Krakow Airport, Krakow Main Station - Miechów - Sędziszów, Krakow Main Station - Tarnów, and Kraków Main Station - Nowy Sącz/Krynica - Zdrój/Jasło.

The procurement has been co-financed by the European Union under the 2014-2020 infrastructure and environment operational programme.
